In 2024, I competed in Raise Your Voice, an annual singing competition, and won first place! I performed Never Enough and Rise Up, two songs that are vocally challenging but powerful.
The hardest part was keeping my nerves in check. I knew the songs inside out, but I had to make sure I didn’t psych myself out before performing. When I won, I felt on top of the world! Holding that big, oversized check with my name on it was such an unreal moment. The judges praised my performance, and I felt so proud of everything I had accomplished.
